This movie was shot entirely on location at the historic Preston Castle and the Jackson Rancheria. In addition to the Hollywood stars, there were tons of local cast and crew on the production! All the child actors were local to the Sacramento area. The budget for this film was designated as Ultra Low Budget, so don't expect lots of high tech effects. For a lot of the cast and crew, this was one of their first motion picture experiences. For those who like horror movies without overt gore, this is a fun movie to watch.

That is well followed through- great characters and great filming! Executed well! It's fun and not too gory but scary and definitely entertaining horror flick.

It was a decent horror film. Nothing really unexpected. The "Carrie" moment didn't work, at least for me. Good characters, fair dialogue.

I live in Elk Grove California, about a 30 min drive from Preston castle and Ive gone there once with my father and my mother, super scary vibe, it felt like i had a hard time breathing. My 3 year old sister claimed to “see a man behind us” after we left our car broke down only a few miles away from the castle. It was a bmw 750li and just had a brand new engine put in. After the weeks of visiting Preston castle we had bad luck, cars breaking down,losing things and many odd occurrences. We still believe a bad spirit was attached to us. I will never even visit that place in my life ever again. Watching this video made my opinion about Preston castle more negative.
